Bank of America called: it was for a teller position. I would be opposed to doing so, however, Bank of America is a prestigious company and I really like the way they have handled me and my wife’s joint account. At the moment, I currently have three job prospects and over 5 different recruiting/staffing companies behind me. Today, I received an email from Bank of America and the day before yesterday from a recruiter seeking to place me with Thomson Reuters. I also got an email about a three month contract with another undisclosed corporation. Meanwhile, Execu-Search(#1 favorite), AppleOne, Asset Staffing(#2), Holiday Statistics (Ms. Scarpati is so loveable), Forum Staffing Services(#3), and Leafstone Staffing are combing through clients to find an opening for me. I ask for prayers family. God is able and He is so faithful. I pray not to grow weary in well-doing and to press on. Meanwhile, my web design company is helping with the bills (and still my little joy!).
In the midst of a crumbling economy, I find myself in New York City, recently married and looking for a position. Follow me on my journey. My experience is thus: I was employed for five years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida as an Associate IIa (Third Level Administrative Assistant) with duties that include data entry, performing outbound calls, providing clerical support, indexing, filing and supervising five clerks statewide. In February, I was employed in a temporary position as an administrative assistant at AMERIGROUP Community Care Corporation, constructing spreadsheets that created a streamlined process for the dispatching of its drivers. I also have strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access and HTML. My professional strengths and interests include: Receiving two awards for efforts in Siebel CRM implementation; Reducing administrative expenses by providing help desk and technical support; Creating higher level of organization by creating public folders for archiving purposes; Creating new electronic file organization methods that simplified daily data retrieval processes.
